The Institute of Effective Training started its life in London in the mid 80’s with various courses being offered to a wide range of businesses by its founding director Sharron Spratt.
Sharron’s clients came to her because they were frustrated with the poor return on investment from training companies offering off the shelf or so called ‘self tailored’ programs that often left the participants frustrated and bored. She decided to work from the opposite end and start with the issues her clients were grappling with, and then design a program that would inspire and motivate particpants to get the results they were looking for. This proved a very effective strategy which she then brought to the Australasian marketplace in 1992. Together with a handpicked team of associate specialists, the Institute can offer assistance to their clients in almost every aspect of improving staff performance, at all leveles of an organisation, throughout the Asia Pacific region.
